Please see the Ph.D. Program Office page as well as the Ph.D. web pages that follow for more information about the services provided.

Ph.D. Handbooks and Forms
Doctoral program resources include yearly publication of Ph.D. handbooks and forms. These comprehensive guides include most of the requirements and rules pertaining to the Doctoral Program in Public Policy at George Mason University.

Ph.D. Milestone Guide
A helpful FAQ, the Ph.D. Milestone Guide has been developed to guide doctoral students through key steps in the degree process, such as what comes after completion of the field exam, and defending a dissertation proposal.

SPP tuition for in-state students is approximately half the cost of the tuition at private competitors in the D.C. area.

Employer information sessions are offered each semester with public, private, and nonprofit organizations such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, RAND, Third Way, and the Department of Treasury.

More than 70% of SPP students are employed while pursuing their degrees -- classes are offered in the late afternoon and early evening to accommodate full- and part-time students.
